OCT 8/9 - MARYLAND AND VIRGINIA

We left Gettysburg heading south (that has put a smile on Barry's face!) and cut across a portion of Maryland then into Virginia. Virginia is so pretty, beautiful hills of hardwood trees which were just starting to change, so the hills looked like they were dusted with cinnamon. Many pretty farms well kept homes and white fences. Stayed at a KOA in Wytheville near the border of Tennessee, then crossed through the Blue Ridge Mountains and by the Shenandoah Valley. The mountains are not high, but very lovely scenery.
